Kassimir Physical Therapy was founded by Gary D. Kassimir, PT, MS, CHT, a licensed physical therapist in Maryland, with over 26 years of clinical and administrative experience. Gary graduated from Long Island University in 1987 with BS-MS degrees in physical therapy. He has extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics, hand rehabilitation and splinting, and sports rehabilitation. In 1998, Gary became a certified hand therapist (CHT) and retains his certification. Gary is also certified in performing advanced trigger point dry needling techniques.
Staff Physical Therapist
Tami joined the KPT team in July 2009 after a successful final clinical affiliation at KPT. She is a graduate from the University of Maryland at Baltimore where she obtained her DPT, Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Tami is also a personal trainer and enjoys spending time working out and teaching aerobics classes.
Tami is our Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Coordinator of Continuing Education, and Aquatic Therapy program director at Brick Bodies pool in Reisterstown and is our aquatic instructor on Tuesdays. She earned the title Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, OCS in 2012. Tami is also certified in advanced trigger point dry needling techniques.Back to Top
Staff Physical Therapist Assistant
Mr. Feliks Perl started out as a physical therapy technician with KPT in 2007. After successful completion of the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Carroll Community College he returned to KPT July 2010 with experience in sports rehabilitation. Feliks is our full time PTA and likes to keep busy.

Senior Staff Physical Therapist
Jennifer Bachtel, MPT started at KPT in July 2002. She earned her MPT from Clarkson University Graduate School in Potsdam, New York, after completing many exciting clinical rotations across the United States. She now works part time at KPT and is our aquatic instructor on Thursday mornings.
Alreen Day Alfonso PT, CMT, OCS
Staff Physical Therapist
Day joined our staff in June of 2011 as a temporary contract therapist and transitioned to full time permanent staff in December 2011. She received her BS in Physical Therapy in 2004 from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. Day was very ambitious and completed her Certification in Manual Therapy and Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification within a few months of each other early in 2013.

Ron Turner MS, LAT, ATC
Certified Athletic Trainer/PT Technician
Ron graduated from Frostburg State University in 2001 with Bachelors degree in Health and Physical Education/Athletic Training. He received his Masters degree in 2003 in Human Performance/Athletic Training. He joined KPT in August 2010 and is involved as a technician every morning at the office.
Robin has been with KPT since March 2012 and has recently transitioned to full time. She has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Towson University. Robin is currently studying nursing at CCBC and is hoping to become a registered nurse.
Sarah Molinaro, LAT, ATC
PT Technician/Athletic Trainer
Sarah graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training. She had five years experience as a technician in a private out patient orthopedic clinic in Los Angeles before joining the staff at KPT in August, 2010.
Jaclyn joined our staff in August 2012 with excellent customer service background. She is recent graduate of UMBC with Sociology degree with ambition to become a registered nurse or physician assistant. Jaclyn's medical background has enabled her to transition well to a PT technician in our back office.
Jake started out as a volunteer this fall as he began his senior year at Pikesville High School. Through outstanding dedication and his quick learning ability he earned a part time PRN position at KPT.
Human Resources/Payroll Coordinator
Sherri graduated from the University of Maryland Nursing School with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She had been employed at Kennedy Krieger Hospital, Holliswood Hospital in NY, and Sheppard Pratt Hospital as an adolescent psychiatric nurse. At the office Sherri is in charge of accounts payables, payroll and employee benefit accruals.
Michelle joined KPT in May 2013 and comes with a diverse background in healthcare and leadership. She managed the Shock Trauma Radiology Department for 10 years, before becoming a certified HR Organizational Development Trainer, specializing in leadership training. In addition, she also assisted her husband in the management of his dental practice.
KPT welcomes Brandi in December 2013 after working in several PT offices in Hawaii and California over the last 3 years. She relocated to this area with husband Jeremy looking for our specific job requirements of medical front office receptionist and all the exciting duties that come with it including scheduling and insurance verifications. We welcome her with open arms to the Baltimore area.
